    Boarders are the heart of our school. They are admitted from Classes V to XII. The school has a fully equipped hostel, divided into 5 blocks. 4 blocks are allotted to the boys according to their age and one isolated block forms the Girls’Hostel. The hostel can accommodate up to 106 boys and 18 girls. The accommodation is well lighted and ventilated, fully furnished with writing tables, cupboards and attached toilets. The boarders are closely supervised by a residential warden and a matron, especially looked after by the Principal and designated teachers. The boarders follow a strict regime that includes getting up at reveille, extra preparatory classes in the morning and evening under the supervision of residential teachers and wardens.



    Our Maths Lab helps students to experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning material. The materials are meant to be used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of Mathematics.


    As per the CBSE norms we have separate, well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

    Two separate Computer Laboratories with 18 computers in the Primary Section and 34 high configured networked computers system provides facilities for computer based learning in the Secondary Section.


    The School Library is housed in Samander Mahal. It is well stocked with a collection of about 5000 books. Classes I to IV have their own class libraries. The school also subscribes for a variety of science and educational journals. The Library is well equipped for information and communication technology with five networked computers and provided with broadband, scanning and printing facilities.


    Our Resident Medical Officer of Fatma Banu Hospital located within the campus looks after the healthcare of the School children. All students are medically examined twice a year and their growth charts maintained. The hospital is well equipped with an ICU and male and female wards. It also has a Dental Unit, X ray Section, a Pathology Lab and a Dispensary. The hospital also conducts first aid classes.


    All students have healthy, nutritious meals. The School Mess serves a vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet for its students, cooked in a hygienic kitchen by our expert catering staff. The menu includes a variety of delicious dishes - North Indian, South Indian, Chinese cuisines and sumptuous snacks - followed by an elaborate spread of desserts. Every day, four meals are served: breakfast, lunch, teatime snacks and dinner.


    LKM School understands the importance of a secure and safe environment for your girls, which is why we have high levels of security. The entry and exit points are manned by well trained security guards. There is round the clock patrolling of the campus by guards. CCTVs are positioned at all entrances and exits, primarily to complement the non-invasive security system. No one can enter without proper authorisation, and prior permission from the Principal.


    The School has deployed its own school buses to pick up and drop school children and staff from Nhava, Khadi, Gavhan, Jasai, Panvel and adjoining villages, at a subsidised cost.


    We believe that environment is the third teacher, nurturing the young minds and shaping them into international minded citizens. Students also get to learn in spacious, well-equipped classrooms with special facilities for art, music, dance and sports. Classrooms are equipped with audio- visual teaching aids to make lessons interesting and interactive for the students. Three ‘e-guru’ interactive whiteboards, designed by NIIT have been installed in various sections of the school, with software for Mathematics, Science, Social Science and English (STD I to X) and all subjects for STD XI-XII Science and Commerce.



    Students enjoy learning outdoors in beautiful gardens and green spaces. There are ample outdoor courts and playing fields for sports, a swimming pool and indoor sports facilities.

    Indoor Sports:

    Our students are trained in a variety of indoor activities like Carrom, Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis, Karate and Yoga. The School also has a well trained students’ band to accompany the March Past and national celebrations like Independence and Republic Day parades.


    The Art Room is a calm environment that encourages creativity. This space is supervised by a highly qualified and well experienced teacher.


    Dance and Music can help children become more imaginative, self-aware and collaborative global citizens. A special dance teacher is appointed to teach our students different types of movements and dance forms to present during our annual day programmes. A separate singing period helps students to build their confidence as they find their voice while singing in a group.
